How does the eFitness365 course work?
Each week students learn about a new information from a range of topics, including nutrition and stress reduction. In addition, each week there are three separate workouts to enjoy. Students learn about exercise safety and working out in their target heart rate zone. Fitness levels are checked at the start and end of the course to measure student progress.
In addition, students use the eFitness365 workbook to log food intake, track fitness, and input goals.
What sort of activities are involved?
Students are exposed to new activities including strength training, running/walking for fitness, interval training, yoga, Pilates, and cardio kick boxing. We want to give the student a taste of many activities in hopes that they will find activities to incorporate into their daily lives.
How are students motivated to participate?
eFitness365 motivates students to move, and also teaches them the fundamentals of health, fitness and goal setting so the students ultimately motivate themselves to move. Plus, there are virtual cafés within each lesson in which students interact with other students for more encouragement. Workout results are reported each week.
How are students monitored?
eFitness365 incorporates various checkpoints within the course to verify student activity. We monitor heart rate, fitness results, and progress.
